- A play on classical mosaic using freer placing of tesserae in the surface design using the 'insetting' techique I have developed. Glass, and other materials are countersunk into the main body material as apposed to mosaiced on top. This encapsulation results in a unique quality to appearance and texture plus substantial durability. Made from reclaimed red brick roof tiles made in Bridgewater, Somerest, stained and sea glass and shipwreck pottery. The table and chairs are very substantial in width and weight of materials.
